Which sites have which services
On this page
Every 4Search site shares one search engine, but not every site offers every service. This page lists what each kind of site has, so you can tell why a tab is missing and where to find it.

A subject site is any other site in the 4 Network, such as a football, city or health site.
#What you see on each kind of site
- 4Search has the full set of tabs: AI Mode, All, Web, News, Finance, Politics, Predictions, Weather, Maps, Topics, Shopping, Websites, Images and Videos.
- 4Conservative has the same row of tabs. Its Shopping tab shows shopping news and web results, not compared store offers.
- A subject site has a shorter row: AI Mode, All, Web, News, Topics, Shopping, Websites, Images and Videos. Its Shopping tab also shows shopping news and web results, with a link to run the search at a store.
The tab row of a subject site has no Finance, Politics, Predictions, Weather or Maps.
- 1All: the tab you start on
- 2Topics: this site's own subjects
#Why a site may lack a service
Each service is switched on site by site. The services that need their own data and pages, such as Finance, Weather and Maps, are offered on 4Search and 4Conservative only. On a site without one, there is no tab and no menu entry for it, and an address that points to it shows a Page not found page.
AI Mode and Topics depend on the site. AI Mode appears where the site has AI turned on, and the Topics tab appears where the site has topics.
#How to reach a service your site lacks
- Look at the tab row, or open Menu, to confirm your site does not list it.
- Open 4Search or 4Conservative from the footer's The 4 Network section, or by typing the address.
- Use the tab there. Your search words do not carry across sites, so type them again.
The guides in this Help Center for a service the current site does not have say so at the top, and their links into that service point to a site that has it.
#Common questions
Why is there no Weather tab on my site?
Weather runs on 4Search and 4Conservative only. On other sites the tab is not shown. Open one of those two sites to use it.
Why does Shopping on my site show articles instead of prices from stores?
Comparing offers from many stores is offered on 4Search only. Elsewhere the Shopping tab shows shopping news and web results for your words.
